Watt comes off bench to spark Celtic

Celtic youngster Tony Watt came off the bench to score a pair of second-half goals as the Scottish Premier League champions handed Motherwell a 3-0 defeat at Fir Park on Sunday.

The 18-year-old Watt entered the game in the 59th minute and netted the game's opening goal just three minutes later when he volleyed home Victor Wanyama's cross from a tight angle.

Just a few minutes later things got even better for Watt, who beat Motherwell goalkeeper Darren Randolph with a shot from the edge of the penalty area to double his side's advantage.

Cha Du-Ri's header gave the Hoops a third goal to cap the win, which leaves Motherwell just three points clear of fourth-place Dundee United.

Kilmarnock 1, Hibernian 0

Edinburgh, Scotland - Hibernian failed to move further from the bottom of the league on Sunday as a first-half penalty kick from Dean Shiels was enough for Kilmarnock to claim a 1-0 win at Easter Road Stadium.

Hibs entered the match six points clear of last-place Dunfermline and could have all but secured safety with a win.

And although the hosts enjoyed large spells of dominant play the difference came just before halftime when Hibernian's Jorge Claros brought down Liam Kelly inside the area, allowing Shiels to convert the lone goal of the game from the spot.
