The Arizona Diamondbacks placed starting pitcher Daniel Hudson on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a right shoulder impingement.

The move is retroactive to April 19, a day after he tossed 7 2/3 innings in a 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

Overall this season, Hudson (1-1) has compiled a 6.00 earned run average in three outings.

To fill his spot on the roster, the Diamondbacks recalled pitcher Jonathan Albaladejo from Triple-A Reno. He made eight relief appearances with the Aces, going 1-1 with a 2.35 ERA.
