Canucks' Bitz suspended for 2 games

New York, NY – Vancouver Canucks forward Byron Bitz has been suspended two games for boarding Los Angeles Kings forward Kyle Clifford during Game 1 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series on Wednesday.

Bitz was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for delivering a high hit at the 12:12 mark of the second period. Clifford's head was driven into the boards and he wound up leaving the game as a result of the hit.
