Quick posts shutout as Kings take big win over Flames

Jonathan Quick made 19 saves for his ninth shutout of the season and the Kings defeated the Flames, 3-0, on Wednesday.

With the win, the Kings moved into the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Willie Mitchell, Dustin Brown and Justin Williams scored while Anze Kopitar had a pair of assists for Los Angeles, which was coming off of Monday's 1-0 loss to Vancouver.

Miikka Kiprusoff made 27 saves for the Flames. They haven't qualified for the playoffs in two straight seasons and remain in 11th place is the West with just four games remaining.
