The Philadelphia Flyers announced Wednesday that they have recalled defenseman Marc-Andre Bourdon and goaltender Jason Bacashihua from their AHL affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.
The 22-year-old Bourdon has two goals and four points in 39 games for the Flyers this season.
Bacashihua, 29, signed as a free agent with Philadelphia last summer. He has an 8-10-1 mark with a 2.99 goals-against average in 22 games for Adirondack this year.
The Flyers needed to recall a goalie after it was learned on Tuesday that starter Ilya Bryzgalov has a chip fracture in his right foot. Bryzgalov has been ruled out for Thursday's game at Toronto and is officially listed as day- to-day.
