A hearing on a temporary restraining order filed against University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson was postponed on Tuesday to March 27.
The Missoulian newspaper reported that David Paoli, Johnson's attorney, requested the delay in Missoula Municipal Court.
A female Montana student obtained the restraining order on March 9 and then filed a report with the Missoula Police Department last Friday that alleged she had been raped by Johnson.
The order forbids Jordan from coming within 1,500 feet of the woman or her home, and from threatening or harassing her.
Johnson, a sophomore from Eugene, Ore., was the starting quarterback last season as Montana won a share of the Big Sky championship and reached the FCS semifinals.
The Grizzlies team began spring practice on Monday without Johnson participating.
