Davidson University will play six home games as part of its 2012 football schedule.
The Wildcats, who finished 4-7 last year, will kick off the season at home against Georgetown on Sept. 1.
Davidson will host four Pioneer Football League opponents: Dayton (Oct. 6), Jacksonville (Oct. 13), Butler (Oct. 27) and San Diego (Nov. 17). In addition, the Wildcats will host Presbyterian (Sept. 29) in a non-conference game.
The Wildcats will have a non-conference game at Lenoir-Rhyne (Sept. 8) and travel to PFL opponents Marist (Sept. 22), Campbell (Oct. 20), Morehead State (Nov. 3) and Valparaiso (Nov. 10).
Davidson head coach Tripp Merritt will enter his eighth season with a 30-43 record.
