Six Baylor players finished in double ranked Kansas, 81-72, in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament on Friday.

Quincy Miller and Pierre Jackson added 13 points apiece, Brady Heslip and A.J. Walton each chipped in 12 points, and Quincy Acy scored 11 for the fourth- seeded Bears (27-6), who advance to the championship game on Saturday against either Texas or Missouri.

Tyshawn Taylor led the top-seeded Jayhawks (27-6) with 20 points, while Thomas Robinson scored 15 to go with nine rebounds. Elijah Johnson and Jeff Withey netted 15 and 11, respectively, as Kansas' bid for a third straight Big 12 tourney title came to an end.

Early in the second half, Acy finished a layup to press the lead to 53-40, but Kansas scored 13 of the next 14 points to pull within one, 54-53, with just under 13 minutes to play.

Acy finally quelled the surge with a tip-in, but Withey converted a three- point play at the other end to knot the game at 56 with 11:11 remaining.

Kansas jumped in front briefly as Robinson's layup gave them a two-point advantage until Heslip nailed a trey to spark a 9-2 surge, giving the Bears a 65-60 edge with six minutes to play.

Johnson's layup marked the only bucket from the field for Kansas during the run, which spanned nearly seven minutes in a pivotal stretch of the second half.

Robinson's free throws brought the Jayhawks within three late, but Heslip answered with back-to-back three-pointers around a Taylor layup, giving the Bears a 73-66 edge with 1:17 remaining.

Kansas came up empty on its next possession and Baylor went 8-of-9 from the line down the stretch to clinch its spot in the finals.

Early on it was a game of runs, as Baylor reeled off eight straight and Kansas responded with seven of its own to tie the game at 15.

Travis Releford then brought his team within two, 29-27, with just under six to play, but Baylor scored the next seven, capped by Walton's triple to give Baylor its largest lead at 36-27.

The Bears would take a 43-35 lead into the locker room.
