Scott Rolen went 2 for 2 in his return to the Reds' lineup as Cincinnati and the Cleveland Indians played to a 6-all tie Saturday.

The exhibition opener for both teams was called after nine innings.

Rolen was limited to 65 games last season. The All-Star third baseman did not play after having surgery on his left shoulder on Aug. 3.

Todd Frazier helped his chances to earn a utility spot with the Reds with a tying, solo homer with one out in the bottom of the ninth.

Joey Votto doubled for the Reds and Neftali Soto homered.

Michael Brantley, expected to move from left field to center to fill in for injured Grady Sizemore, doubled and singled for the Indians.
