The Seattle Mariners have agreed to terms with six players, including outfielders Mike Carp and Casper Wells, on contracts for the upcoming season.
Carp is expected to start the year as the Mariners' left fielder. He belted 12 homers and drove in 46 runs in 79 games last season.
Wells, acquired last July in the deal that sent Doug Fister to Detroit, hit .237 with 11 homers in a combined 95 games for the Tigers and Mariners last year.
Seattle also signed outfielders Trayvon Robinson and Michael Saunders, as well as pitchers Cesar Jimenez and Tom Wilhelmsen.
