Atlanta, GA – The Atlanta Hawks signed center Erick Dampier for the remainder of the season on Thursday.
Dampier, who has appeared in six games for Atlanta this year, signed consecutive 10-day contracts on February 9 and 19.
The 36-year-old Mississippi State product was selected by Indiana with the 10th overall pick of the 1996 draft and has averaged 7.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 978 games over 15 seasons with the Pacers, Warriors, Mavericks, Heat and Hawks.
