Blackhawks edge Maple Leafs

Marian Hossa scored twice as the Chicago 4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at United Center.

Patrick Kane had a goal and an assist while Andrew Shaw and Marcus Kruger both scored for the Blackhawks, who snapped a three-game slide.

Corey Crawford started the game in net, but was pulled after the first period as he allowed three goals on 10 shots. Ray Emery finished the contest for Chicago and got the win, allowing just one goal on 23 shots.

Joffrey Lupul had a goal and an assist while Clarke MacArthur, Mike Brown and Tyler Bozak all scored for the Maple Leafs, who fell for a sixth straight game. Jonas Gustavsson was charged with four goals on 34 shots.
