Matt Duchene, Jay McClement, Ryan O'Reilly and Cody McLeod all scored for the Avalanche, who have won four straight.
Bobby Ryan got the only goal of the game for the Ducks, who had won six of eight coming in. Jonas Hiller was tagged for all four goals on 23 shots in the loss.
