Motherwell is preparing for a major test form Hoops.

Motherwell has been on a good run of late with four wins and a draw from its last five games, propelling the club to within three points of second-place Rangers after the defending champions were docked 10 points for entering administration.

Yet while the visitors will enter the match in good form at Parkhead, Celtic is currently riding a 16-game winning streak that has seen Neil Lennon's men move 20 points clear at the top of the league.

Like most clubs in the SPL, games with Rangers and Celtic are always difficult, but McCall feels his team will be up for the challenge.

"It's a big tester but these are the days you play football for," McCall told the club's website.

"Going to Celtic is difficult anytime but the way they are playing, the size of their squad, it's naturally going to be a tough ask.

"But we're in a run of form and we'll have a look at how we approach the game and have a look at how we can hopefully hurt Celtic. Because in all the games we've played against them I don't think we have given them too many problems defensively and we'll maybe look at trying to do that a little bit more."

Rangers tries to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock when the club visits 10th-place Inverness on Sunday, while Hearts tries to keep hold of fourth place by beating Dundee United on Saturday.

St Mirren and Aberdeen are separated by two points in the table and they meet up at St Mirren Park, while Hibernian and Dunfermline appear headed for a two- team relegation battle.

The two sides are locked on 19 points at the bottom of the league, with Inverness sitting eight points above. And both will be on the road on Saturday with Hibs traveling to Kilmarnock and Dunfermline visiting St Johnstone.
