The Chicago Sky signed center Ruth Riley on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Last season with San Antonio, the 32-year-old Riley averaged 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds over 34 games.

"We are extremely excited to add a person and player of Ruth's caliber to our roster," said Chicago general manager Pokey Chatman. "She will bring so much to our team and the city of Chicago. Her ability to play the five and stretch the defense at the four compliments our post game very well."

Over 11 seasons in the WNBA, she has averaged 6.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in 338 contests with Miami, Detroit and San Antonio.

She won a WNBA title in 2003 and 2006 with Detroit.
