Frisco, TX – The Dallas Stars have activated forward Jamie Benn from injured reserve.
The 22-year-old Benn missed Dallas' last five games while recovering from an appendectomy.
Named to the NHL All-Star roster, Benn leads the Stars with 29 assists and ranks second with 42 points.
He has been skating the last few days and plans to fully participate in this weekend's events in Ottawa.
