Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin, Philadelphia Flyers winger Scott Hartnell and New York Islanders goaltender Evgeni Nabokov have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending January 22.

Malkin, last week's Third Star, remained hot and earned the First Star by producing a league-leading seven points, including five goals, and posting a plus-6 rating in four games.

Hartnell was awarded the Second Star after he led the NHL with six goals over four games. He capped off his week by notching a natural hat trick during the second period of Sunday's 6-5 shootout loss to Boston.

Nabokov rounded out the weekly stars by posting a goals-against average of 0.65 and a .978 save percentage in three starts.
