Miami Heat teammates LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are three of the 20 finalists for the 2012 U.S. Olympic men's basketball team.

The remaining finalists are: LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland), Carmelo Anthony (New York), Chauncey Billups (Los Angeles Clippers), Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers), Tyson Chandler (New York), Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City), Rudy Gay (Memphis), Eric Gordon (New Orleans), Blake Griffin (LA Clippers), Dwight Howard (Orlando), Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia), Kevin Love (Minnesota), Lamar Odom (Dallas), Chris Paul (LA Clippers), Derrick Rose (Chicago), Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City) and Deron Williams (New Jersey).

"The selected finalists are a very, very talented group; the depth of the talent is extraordinary," said USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo. "This selection decision was as difficult of a challenge as I've faced since I took on the USA National Team program in 2005."

James, Wade and Anthony are two-time Olympic medalists, capturing a bronze medal in 2004 at Athens and gold four years ago in Beijing. Bosh, Bryant, Howard, Paul and Williams also were members of the U.S. squad that won Olympic gold in 2008.

Durant, Billups, Chandler, Gay, Gordon, Iguodala, Love, Odom, Rose and Westbrook were members of the 2010 USA World Championship team that claimed the gold medal in Istanbul, Turkey.

"These players have helped restore the winning tradition of USA Basketball while also gaining the respect of people around the world for the manner in which they have done it," said Mike Krzyzewski, who has coached USA national teams to a 48-1 record since 2006.

The official 12-man U.S. Olympic team roster will be announced later this year. The London Games are scheduled to begin July 27.
