Meb Keflezighi won the U.S. Olympic trials men's marathon Sunday, while Ryan Hall and Abdi Abdirahman finished second and third to also qualify for this summer's games in London.

The top three finishers qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games, and Keflezighi ensured his place with a personal-best time of 2 hours, 9 minutes and eight seconds.

The 36-year-old was the silver medalist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, and also won the 2009 New York City marathon.

Hall, 29, had won the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials marathon but went on to place 10th in the event in Beijing. He finished 22 seconds behind Keflezighi on Sunday.

Abdirahman ran a 2:09:47 on Sunday to qualify for his fourth Olympic team, though did so for the first time in the marathon. The 33-year-old competed in the 10,000 meters in his three previous Olympic appearances.
