Magic continue trek at Golden State

The Orlando Magic just sent Portland to its first home loss game road trip tonight against the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena.

Orlando handed the Trail Blazers a 107-104 setback in Rip City last night behind 17 points from J.J. Redick. Ryan Anderson, Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson had 16 points apiece, while Jason Richardson added 15 points for Orlando, which is 2-0 on the road trip and improved to 7-3 on the season.

"Our ball movement was the best it has been this year," Magic head coach Steve Van Gundy said. "Our energy was outstanding."

Dwight Howard finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds. The Magic shot a sizzling 58.6 percent for the game and buried a season-best 16-of-27 three- pointers (59.3 percent). They also had a 42-32 advantage on the boards.

The Magic are 3-2 away from Amway Arena this season and 6-0 when scoring 100 or more points. They are averaging 96.4 ppg, which ranks ninth in the NBA, and will close out the trek in New York on Monday following a lengthy break.

Golden State will wrap up a three-game homestand tonight and ended a five-game losing streak with a 111-106 overtime victory versus Miami on Tuesday. Nate Robinson finished with a team-high 24 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, and Monta Ellis scored 22, as the Warriors snapped a six-game slide to the Heat and rallied from 17 points down for their third win of the season.

"We fought," said Warriors head coach Mark Jackson. "When it gets tough there is a point, just like in life, where you can fold the tent or you can fight. And we did that."

Former Heat forward Dorell Wright had a season-high 20 points and 10 rebounds, and made 6-of-11 shots from beyond the arc. David Lee notched 20 points as well and grabbed 14 boards for his fourth straight double-double. The Warriors are 3-3 in Oakland this season and will begin a four-game road trip against Charlotte, Detroit, Cleveland and New Jersey this weekend.

The Warriors are still without guard Stephen Curry (ankle), while center Andris Biedrins (ankle) is probable for tonight and center Kwame Brown (shoulder) is listed as doubtful versus the Magic.

Golden State is 3-1 against the Eastern Conference this season, but has lost seven of the past nine encounters with Orlando. The two teams split a pair of meetings last season, with each team prevailing as the host. Orlando has won four of five trips to Oakland.
