El Segundo, CA – Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake is to-day after an MRI on Thursday revealed a fracture of the cartilage that connects the rib to the sternum.
Blake originally suffered the injury -- known as a costochaondral fracture -- in Tuesday's win over the Suns before aggravating it Wednesday against the Jazz. He will be re-evaluated in the next day or two.
In 12 games this season, Blake is averaging 7.3 points, 2.8 assists and 24.3 minutes.
