Khadijah Rushdan scored 14 points and April Sykes added 11 to lead No. 8 Rutgers to a 63-39 win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.

Monique Oliver, Briyona Canty and Betnijah Laney each scored 10 points for the Scarlet Knights (14-2, 3-0 Big East), who have won five straight games. Oliver also had 11 rebounds.

Asia Logan led Pitt (8-9, 0-4) with 10 points, while Abby Dowd and Kiesel each added nine points.

Rutgers built a 37-24 halftime lead by using an early 11-2 run and never looked back.

Pitt had 21 turnovers and the youngest team in Division I women's basketball had its second-lowest offensive output of the season. The Panthers scored 37 points in a November loss to Hampton.
