Ducks top Blue Jackets behind Perry's hat trick

Corey Perry recorded his fourth career hat 4 victory over the Blue Jackets.

Teemu Selanne added two tallies for Anaheim, which has won two in a row for the first time since October. The Ducks had won just twice in November and only three times in December.

Anaheim's Jonas Hiller started in net and played the first period, and left the game after suffering a lower body injury. However, he returned in the third and allowed two goals on 11 shots.

Iiro Tarkki was in net the rest of the time for the Ducks, making his NHL debut, and gave up two goals on seven shots.

Columbus netminder Steve Mason gave up four goals on 16 shots in the first period, and was pulled in favor of Curtis Sanford, who made eight saves.

Rick Nash scored twice for the Blue Jackets, who were coming off Saturday's shutout against the Kings in Los Angeles.
