van Riemsdyk nets a pair as Flyers edge Blackhawks

The last time the Blackhawks were in Philadelphia, they left the Wells Fargo Center with Lord Stanley's Cup.

Although the stakes were not nearly as significant, the Flyers got a measure of redemption with a 5-4 victory over Chicago Thursday night.

James van Riemsdyk eclipsed his production from last month with two goals, including the game-winner with 32.8 seconds to play in the third period.

Patrick Kane, whose goal from an unlikely angle in overtime of Game 6 on June 9, 2010 ended Chicago's 49-year championship drought, went off for high- sticking with 1:38 remaining.

A little over a minute later, van Riemsdyk, who had just one goal in 11 December games, hammered home a feed from Scott Hartnell.
