LONDON – Tottenham beat Norwich 2-0 Tuesday to tighten its grip on third place in the Premier League, establishing itself as the likeliest challenger to the two Manchester clubs.
Gareth Bale scored twice in the second half, putting the Spurs within seven points of City and United. Tottenham still has a game in hand — at home to Everton next month.
