The Pittsburgh Steelers have decided to go with Charlie Batch at quarterback for Saturday's game against the Rams.
Ben Roethlisberger suffered a high-left ankle sprain against the Browns on December 8th, but has played through the injury. Roethlisberger threw three interceptions during Monday's 20-3 loss to the 49ers.
The Steelers, who have already secured a playoff spot, have decided to give Roethlisberger some rest.
The 37-year-old Batch has attempted just two passes this season.
Pittsburgh and Baltimore are tied atop the AFC North.
