New Orleans, LA – Chris Kaman scored 18 points to lead the 80 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Eric Gordon dropped 17 points and Quincy Pondexter added a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for the Hornets, who open up the season in Phoenix against the Suns on Monday.
Rudy Gay scored a game-high 20 points and Zach Randolph added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies.
They will open the regular season in San Antonio against the Spurs on Monday.
