New York, NY –  University of Connecticut quarterbacks coach Joe Moorhead will be the next coach at Fordham, according to a report.

FootballScoop.com first reported the story on Wednesday.

Moorhead was a three-year starter at Fordham, earning second-team All-Patriot League honors as a senior in 1995.

Moorhead is a former offensive coordinator at Georgetown, Akron and Connecticut. The Fordham job would be his first head coaching position. He also served as an assistant at Pittsburgh.
