Seattle, WA – The Seattle Mariners signed catcher Chris Gimenez on Wednesday.
He appeared in 24 games for the Mariners last season and batted .203 with one home runs and six RBI.
In 97 career games in the majors with Cleveland and Seattle, he has batted .171 with five homers and 21 RBI.
