Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Kings activated defenseman Willie Mitchell from injured reserve on Saturday.
Placed on IR this past Thursday, Mitchell suffered a lower body injury during a December 1st game against the Panthers. He has played 25 games this season, recording one goal and five assists.
To clear room on the roster, the Kings assigned forward Ethan Moreau to Manchester of the American Hockey League.
Moreau, who cleared waivers earlier on Saturday, has just one goal and three assists and is a minus-three over 28 games this season.
