The Texas Rangers announced on Tuesday that they A Mexican League on April 3 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

"The Mexico City Red Devils have a rich history of success," Rangers CEO and president Nolan Ryan said. "We are very pleased that we will be able to welcome their team to Arlington at the end of Spring Training."

The Red Devils, translated to "Diablos Rojos del Mexico," was the Mexican League's best 2011 regular-season team at 63-40 and advanced to the championship where they were swept in four games by the Quintana Roo Tigers.

Mexico City owns 15 Mexican League championships in its history, more than any other club.
