New York Islanders forward Matt Moulson, Colorado Avalanche center Ryan O'Reilly and Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending December 4.
Moulson earned First Star honors with six goals in three games, including a four-goal performance on Saturday against the Dallas Stars. His fourth goal came with 3:50 left in regulation, giving the Islanders a 5-4 victory.
O'Reilly was named Second Star after recording seven points in four games. He ended the week with the second two-goal game of his NHL career in a 4-2 win against the Red Wings on Sunday.
Quick was Third Star for only allowing one goal in two starts last week. After picking up league-high fourth shutout of the season Monday, Quick made a season-high 41 saves on Thursday in the Kings' 2-1 win against the visiting Florida Panthers.
