Habs' Markov undergoes knee surgery

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on Monday to remove debris in his right knee.

He is expected to miss four to six weeks.

The 32-year-old has a goal with two assists in seven games played this season.

Markov, a 10-year veteran, has spent his entire career with Montreal where he's recorded 81 goals and 366 points.
