Enroth, Sabres blank Hurricanes

Jhonas Enroth rebounded from a subpar 0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes at the RBC Center.

Enroth recorded 14 of his 34 saves in the third period Friday night for Buffalo, which has won six of its last eight games. The diminutive Swede, who notched his second career shutout, was pulled Wednesday against New Jersey after surrendering five goals on 19 shots.

Brian Boucher made 19 saves for the Hurricanes, who were blanked for the second straight game. Carolina has lost three in a row and seven of eight overall.
