Quarterback John Skelton will most likely start his third straight game Sunday when the Arizona Cardinals play the San Francisco 49ers.

Skelton has been under center since Kevin Kolb suffered a turf toe injury against the Ravens in Week 8. In two Arizona wins, the Fordham product has passed for 537 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.

On Thursday, head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Kolb "is probably still a little ways away from playing."

Kolb has been limited in practice this week.
