Blackhawks beat Canucks for fourth straight win

Corey Crawford stopped 28 shots to lift the 1 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Patrick Kane and Steve Montador each had a goal and an assist while Patrick Sharp, Andrew Brunette and Jonathan Toews all lit the lamp for the Blackhawks, who have won four straight.

Jannik Hansen scored the lone goal for the Canucks, who have dropped two of three. Cory Schneider was tagged for all five goals on 27 shots.

After a scoreless first period, Vancouver took a 1-0 lead just 38 seconds into the second. Henrik Sedin got the puck in the neutral zone and skated in down the left wing. From the circle, he sent a saucer pass to the front where Hansen redirected it in.

Chicago, though, tied the game less than five minutes later on the power play as Marcus Kruger sent a backhand pass on the fly from the slot to the left side and Brunette shot it in.

Again on the power play, the Blackhawks took a 2-1 lead when Kane's shot from the slot hit a Vancouver stick in front and went in.

At the 12:40 mark of the third, Chicago gave itself some room. Marian Hossa caught up to the puck at the right circle and from down low passed it to the left side for Viktor Stalberg, who sent it back to the front where Toews had the easy slam.

Less than two minutes later, Sharp's wrister from the left circle went off the top of the right pad of Schneider and went in.

Montador's slap shot from the right circle off a feed from Hossa sailed past Schneider with 3:17 to play to account for the final score.
