Spokane, WA – Robert Sacre scored 22 points and grabbed 10 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs to a 77-69 season-opening victory over the Eastern Washington Eagles.
Marquise Carter added 17 points, Elias Harris had 16 points and eight rebounds and Kevin Pangos rose from the bench to net 11 points for the Bulldogs (1-0), who have won 23 straight home openers.
Collin Chiverton scored a game-high 25 points for the Eagles (0-1), while Cliff Colimon added 17 points and eight assists.
