Guyatt rallies for win in Australia

Matthew Guyatt fired an eight-under 62 Sunday to come from behind and win the NSW PGA Championship.

Guyatt, who won for the first time on the PGA Tour of Australia, finished at 13-under-par 197 at Wollongong Golf Club.

Peter O'Malley and Kurt Barnes both closed with 64s to share second place at minus-12. They were joined there by Andre Stolz (65) and second-round leader James McLean (67). Matthew Millar ended alone in sixth at 10-under-par 200 after shooting 68 in the final round.

Guyatt flew up the leaderboard with four birdies on the front nine. Around the turn, he birdied the par-three 12th to move to 10-under.

After a pair of pars, Guyatt eagled 15 and 17 to leap to minus-14. However, he bogeyed the last, then had to wait for the final groups to finish to see if anyone could catch him.

McLean picked up a pair of late birdies to grab a share of the lead, but he also bogeyed the last to share second.

Rohan Blizard, who won the last tour event, posted a 69 on Sunday to share 14th at seven-under-par 203.
