Giants RB Bradshaw, WR Nicks doubtful for Sunday

The New York Giants could be without running back Ahmad Bradshaw and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

Bradshaw has a cracked bone in his foot, a team spokesman confirmed Thursday, and is doubtful for Sunday's game.

Bradshaw, the team's leading rusher with 440 yards and five touchdowns, has been held out of practice since suffering the injury during last Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Bradshaw will likely be a game-time decision. He went on to add that Bradshaw won't need surgery at this point.

"The doctors felt that it wouldn't be necessary for him to have surgery right now," Coughlin said.

Bradshaw has played through this type of issue in the past, but Brandon Jacobs will carry most of the load if Bradshaw can't go Sunday.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who suffered a hamstring injury last Sunday, is also doubtful for Sunday's contest. He did not practice this week.

Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (neck) and rookie cornerback Prince Amukamara are questionable. Amukamara has yet to see the field this season due to a broken foot.

Center David Baas (knee) is doubtful.
