Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Jets have placed goaltender Chris Mason on injured reserve with a lower body injury.
Mason is 1-2-0 with a 2.68 goals-against average in four games this season for the Jets. The move is retroactive to October 27.
Winnipeg also recalled defensemen Brett Festerling and Mark Flood from the St. John's IceCaps of the AHL.
Festerling has played in 83 NHL games, all with Anaheim, posting eight assists.
Flood played in six games for the Islanders in 2009-10, recording one assist.
