McKinney, TX – The Nationwide Tour announced on Monday that ending Nationwide Tour Championship will move to the TPC Craig Ranch in 2012.
"The 2008 Championship was a big success and with our two fantastic partners again in the Salesmanship Club of America and TPC Craig Ranch, we are confident the 2012 championship will be another great event," said Nationwide Tour President Bill Calfee.
The tournament is reserved for the top-60 players on the money list. The top 25, after the championship ends, earn PGA Tour cards for the 2013 season.
This year's Nationwide Tour Championship, played at the Ralston Creek Course at the Daniel Island Club, concluded Sunday with Ken Duke as the winner. He started the week in 36th on the money list and the victory got him up to seventh and on to the PGA Tour in 2012.
"Serving as the stepping off point every year for the 25 graduates who are going to the PGA Tour, the Nationwide Tour Championship annually provides some of golf's best drama and delivers players to the tour who have the game to make an immediate impact," said Calfee.
