Nene scored his fifth and six goals of the 2 win over Caen on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.

Thomas Heurtaux actually gave Caen the lead after 12 minutes, but Benjamin Nivet received a red card in the 19th and Nene converted the resulting penalty kick to spark PSG's sixth straight win and ninth during its undefeated streak.

Jeremy Menez put PSG in front for good 10 minutes after halftime, and Nene was on target again from the spot in the 76th to push the lead to two goals. Jerry Vandam pulled Caen back within a goal in the 82nd, but Pastore sealed the win.

PSG lost its opener at home to Lorient, but has been nearly flawless since and has opened a three-point cushion atop the standings over Montpellier.

Caen lost its second straight during a four-game winless streak, and is 14 off the pace in 10th place.

Montpellier 2, Nancy 0

Montpellier, France - Olivier Giroud and Souleymane Camara scored after half, and Montpellier won for the third time during a four-game unbeaten streak, 2-0 over Nancy on Saturday in Ligue 1 at the Stade de la Mosson.

After a scoreless first half, Giroud opened the scoring in the 61st and Camara followed in the 74th, keeping Montpellier just two points behind leaders PSG in second place after 12 matches.

Nancy had won its first match of the season last week, but lost for the sixth time and is just one point above last-place Ajaccio.

Lyon 2, St Etienne 0

Lyon, France - Jimmy Briand and Yoann Gourcuff scored in the final 10 minutes as 10-man Lyon downed St. Etienne 2-0 on Saturday at the Stade de Gerland in Ligue 1.

Lyon beat St. Etienne in the Coupe de la Ligue midweek and managed another win even after Mouhamadou Dabo was sent off early in the second half. Lyon won for the fourth time in its last six, and is six back of leaders PSG in third.

St. Etienne had its two-game win streak and five-game unbeaten streak snapped, as it fell 13 points off the pace.

Brest 3, Lorient 1

Brest, France - Bruno Grougi scored twice and Brest snapped a season-long, 11- game winless streak with a 3-1 win over Lorient at the Stade Francis-Le Ble on Saturday in Ligue 1.

Brest had nine ties through its first 11 matches, but Larsen Toure's opener in the 4th minute sparked the needed victory. Grougi doubled the lead in the 35th and he added his second from the spot in the 42nd.

Lorient pulled one goal back through Bruno Manga in the 54th, but Brest - with four straight ties - held on to run its unbeaten streak to five games. Lorient lost for the second time during a three-game winless run.

Marseille 3, Dijon 2

Dijon, France - Alou Diarra scored the game-winner 8 minutes from time to help Marseille extend its Ligue 1 undefeated streak six matches with a 3-2 win over Dijon at the Stade Gaston Gerard on Saturday.

Loic Remy and Benoit Cheyrou scored inside 11 minutes for Marseille, but Dijon tied the match on goals from Brice Jovial and Benjamin Corgnet, the latter in the 63rd.

But Dijon allowed the late goal, as it lost its third straight and saw its run of matches without a win reach five games.

Bordeaux 2, Ajaccio 0

Ajaccio, France - Yoan Gouffran had two goals in a 5-minute stretch of the first half and Bordeaux snapped a seven-match winless run with a 2-0 win over last-place Ajaccio at the Stade Francois Coty on Saturday in Ligue 1.

Bordeaux won for just the second time this season, but the 2009 champions are still 17 points off the pace of leaders PSG. Ajaccio lost its third straight, and has just seven points from 12 games.

Evian 3, Auxerre 1

Annecy, France - Yannick Sagbo scored twice in the first half and Evian downed Auxerre 3-1 on Saturday at the Parc des Sports in Ligue 1 to snap a nine-match winless streak.

Cedric Barbosa added a third goal for Evian, which has just two wins. Auxerre, which got its lone goal from Dariusz Dudka in the 70th, is winless in four in a row.
