The Los Angeles Kings activated defenseman Drew Doughty from injured reserve on Saturday.

Doughty suffered an upper-body injury during a 3-2 overtime win at Philadelphia on October 15 and was placed on IR shortly thereafter.

The 21-year-old, who was a training camp holdout before signing an eight-year deal prior to the start of the season, has tallied one assist in four contests after registering 11 goals and 40 points with a plus-13 rating in 76 games last year.

The Kings assigned defenseman Slava Voynov to Manchester of the American Hockey League to make room for Doughty. The young Russian tallied two goals and three points in his five-game call-up.
