Dallas running back Felix Jones will miss his second straight game because of an ankle injury when the Cowboys travel to play Philadelphia on Sunday night.

Jones hasn't been able to practice because of a sprain, and the team ruled him out on Friday.

The Cowboys didn't miss a beat with Jones out of the lineup against St. Louis last Sunday. Rookie DeMarco Murray filled in and rushed for a team-record 253 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Murray broke the single-game Cowboys rushing record of 237 yards set by Emmitt Smith against the Eagles on October 31, 1993, and his 91-yard TD run was the second-longest in franchise after to Tony Dorsett's memorable 99-yard dash at Minnesota on January 3, 1983.

Jones started the first five games of the season and ran for 253 yards and a touchdown.
