Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Chris Narveson had surgery on his left hip, the team announced on Tuesday.

Narveson went 11-8 with a 4.45 earned run average in 30 games (28 starts) for the NL Central champion Brewers this season. He made six relief appearances in the playoffs, posting an 11.05 ERA with no record.

The left-hander will visit Dr. William Raasch on Wednesday for a follow-up. The team expects Narveson to be ready for spring training.

Milwaukee also reinstated pitcher Brandon Kintzler from the 15-day disabled list and pitchers Manny Parra and Mitch Stetter from the 60-day disabled list. Infielder Josh Wilson and pitcher Mark DiFelice were sent to Triple-A Nashville.

The club also re-signed shortstop Edwin Maysonet to a minor league contract.
