Blackhawks edge Ducks in shootout

Patrick Kane netted the shootout winner as 2, at United Center.

Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp lit the lamp while Kane added two assists for the Blackhawks, who have won three out of four and posted their first shootout win in three tries this season.

Corey Crawford made 29 saves in 65 minutes of action, then turned aside two of three chances in the shootout for the victory.

Ryan Getzlaf and Teemu Selanne scored in regulation for the Ducks, losers of three straight after a four-game win streak.

Jonas Hiller played well in defeat, making 33 stops.
