Houston's Keenum sets NCAA record for total offense

University of Houston quarterback Case Keenum set the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision record for total offense during Saturday's game against Marshall.

Keenum entered Saturday's contest needing only 130 yards to pass the mark of 16,910 yards, set by former Hawaii star Timmy Chang from 2000-04.

Keenum, a sixth-year senior, eclipsed Chang's record in the first quarter. The Abilene, Texas native was granted a sixth year of NCAA eligibility after tearing his ACL last season.
