Ryan McDonagh scored with just 1.8 seconds left 2 win over the Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Brandon Dubinsky charged the puck into the Calgary end down the right wing and lost it. But he was able to get it back along the boards and charged to the middle before dropping the puck back for Dan Girardi, whose shot on net went wide. However, it took a bounce off the backboards and came out to the left where McDonagh slammed it home for the win.
Marian Gaborik and Brandon Prust also had a goal for the Rangers, who have won their past two games. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 33 shots in the win.
Jarome Iginla had a goal and an assist while Mark Giordano added the other goal for the Flames, who fell to 1-0-1 on their six-game home stand. Henrik Karlsson stopped 26 shots in the loss.
