New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton sprained his left knee following a collision along the sideline early in the first quarter of Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
Saints tight end Jimmy Graham caught a pass near the New Orleans sideline before being tackled by a Bucs defender. Graham went crashing into Payton, who fell to the ground.
Payton was attended to by team medical staff before being placed on the bench. He will undergo X-rays at halftime, and will coach the second half of the game from the booth.
