Bears CB Tillman out of practice, WR Bennett returns

Chicago Bears cornerback Charles long absence.

The 30-year-old Tillman was able to practice on Wednesday, but only on a limited basis. He was credited with eight tackles in Monday night's 24-13 loss in Detroit.

On an uplifting note, Bennett, who has been sidelined since Saints safety Roman Harper hit him in the chest with his helmet on September 18, was able to take limited reps on Thursday.

The Vanderbilt product has not played since that Week 2 contest, but had been running on the side during practice last week. It is unlikely that he will be able to face the Vikings this coming Sunday.

In other roster news, tackle Gabe Carimi, defensive end Julius Peppers and defensive tackle Matt Toeaina all missed their second straight practice with various knee issues.
